I hate to be a douche/nit, and I'm not even sure if Homer cares. But on his behalf, I'll just remind people that he requested that you use the team names or numbers. I know it shouldn't, but it bothers me that so many people are not following these extremely simple instructions. Let's all make this as easy as possible for Homer.

I ended last year with 35 - 27 - 2 +2600, good for 15th Overall. Let's see if the system works this year (I'll probably miss at least 1 week due to work traveling and/or stupid early PT deadline so if that's really a -$1000 I think I'm in trouble):

$400 Saints/Browns over 35.5
$300 Vikings/Redskins over 34.5
$200 Cowboys +2
$100 Bengals/Chiefs over 46.5

Hmm, that's 3 overs and one close game road dog (who I hate, I hope the Cowboys lose by 1). Looks like I'm cheering for offense. My "bonus picks" (I.e., what would be my 5th and 6th best bets) would be Falcons +6 followed by Lions +6.5 but there aren't a lot of great picks this early.
