Again, I really disliked the German favoritsm the referee exhibited. This was a god awful decision also by the Argentinian coach for substitutes.

i disagree and think this ref was highly mediocre. he called too many little fouls and favored germany. also the game was mediocre. not that many chances, it looked like they were both trying hard (which is good, some of the games have looked listless) but it was an ugly battle not a pretty one.

tevez dribbles a lot, sometimes a little too much IMO but he came through with some damn nice passes this game. argentina had a couple of good chances where tevez passed to them on the right and they didn't even get a shot on goal. sad thar argentina lost [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

He had to call these little fouls otherwise the match would have gone ugly. Ref was very good in a tough game. He should have booked Ballack though for diving.

Ref did a great job keeping the game under control.

A little biased towards Germany, but they are the host nation so not to be unexpected.
