Plus, if the Vikings were competent at passing, AP would get fewer carries.

This will be the best 8 game stretch of Adrian Peterson's career. How could he not be overrated?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think its a safe wager that once he has a team that can pass the ball he will be more effective.

[/ QUOTE ]

How is he going to be more effective. You think he's going to run for 7 yards per carry?

[/ QUOTE ]
6.7 imo.

If a guy can average 6.7 carries, never get hurt, there's no need to pass. I can't imagine right now that teams aren't putting more guys in the box than normal against the Vikings and he's still killing them.

Not necessarily. The limiting factor on his number of carries to this point has been restrictions put on him by the coaches. The Vikings would also have more total offensive plays if they weren't so terrible at passing.

The rules don't allow teams to put more than 11 men in the box.

Its only a 5 yard penalty if you put in 12 or 13 guys though. Not sure why more teams arent considering this.

In 3 years he will be rushing for a TD a carry and we won't even be measuring his rushes by yards but by how many players he killed by running over.

Can I still be considered a straight man if I have deleted all the porn on my PC and instead whack off to ADP TD runs?

Learning how to not get injured is the only reason Jerome Bettis and Emmitt Smith lasted so long.

i was just pointing out that we're talking about nfl caliber athletes. what you said holds true for high school, etc, but i dont think we have to worry about these guys learning to get out of bounds, ala LDT.
