My God, Leeds has just gone from one pwning to the next the last five or six years. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Conference National five years from now.

Admittedly these are mostly just shots in the dark, since I haven't paid much attention to the EPL until last year, but I might as well put my two cents in:

Liverpool 1
Chelsea 2
Manchester U 3
Arsenal 4
Aston Villa 5
Spurs 6
Newcastle 7
Blackburn 8
Bolton 9
Everton 10
Reading 11
Middlesborough 12
Portsmouth 13
Sunderland 14
Manchester C 15
Birmingham C 16
West Ham 17
Derby 18
Fulham 19
Wigan 20

Promoted up from the Championship for 08-09: Wolverhampton, Sheffield, and Bristol City (my upset special )

This isn't really the point of what I was doing, but I was surprised to learn that last season in the Premier League there were 53 goals that were scored in either the 90th minute or stoppage time. This is 13.9% of all matches.

There were no matches where there were two such goals.

Simple math Jared, suppose 3 goals per match. Divide by 30 you know what I mean.

Any real chance Team America doesn't get relegated?

Also, Feilhaber is close to moving to Derby, which means we can expect lots of Americans in the Championship next year.

Random question. I'm trying to do some data analysis and for now this bbc sport page is pretty much perfect for what I want. Basically, I want a list of all match results with the times of the goals on them like that.

Anybody know where I can find something like that for previous years or continental leagues?

for last year. They have all previous seasons also, as well as many domestic leagues. That site is a must bookmark for any serious soccer fan.

I would also recommend footballsite, which is England only but has all of the EPL and FL standings from 1888 and has many FA Cups and League Cups (RSSSF is probably better with the cups, but I find footballsite more convenient with regards to league standings).

I have to be honest, everything that I have read/seen thus far this year, I think the league is going to be very competitive this year. I seriously feel the top 4 are closer than people think, but the rest of the top 10 are close as well. Other than the bottom two (derby and wigan), the last relegation spot through 11 will be close as well.

Yeah, it's one of those before you really think about it deals. I do wonder what the average stoppage time is.
