You are a ridiculous homer who would love to believe your team can do no wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]

Pot, kettle, etc.

Like I said, when you grow up, let me know. Three paragraphs? It was like 5 sentences, and most of what my post was about was what I thought about the Pats running up the score.

Congrats, you're on ignore now. I should've done it a long time ago.

Kyro DVOA factors in margin of victories.

[/ QUOTE ]

For the most part, yes, I admitted my choice of wording was biased. It's not even that I think it's Pats and then everyone else. I just think it's Pats, a gap, the Colts, a gap, the Steelers/Cowboys, a smaller gap, and everyone else

[/ QUOTE ]

except that first gap doesn't really exist

[/ QUOTE ]

10% DVOA isn't a gap?

[/ QUOTE ]

Pats have played one more game than the Colts.

Plus, all the awe over the Pats is their offense. The Colts have a higher offensive DVOA despite playing 1 fewer game. In fact, the Colts have the second highest offensive DVOA after 6 weeks ever (keep in mind that DVOA only started in 1996).

Kidcolin,

Because, just like the childish troll kyro is, he definitely over-exaggerated anything I said to him in a PM. Not that it matters that much. Hell, even if I did say something awful to him, it was a PM. I don't start these flame wars, if you notice. Look at it objectively.

This thread is a perfect example. I wasn't even in it and he decided to go poking at me. Then when Richard Tanner says something that would have started a flame war coming from me, he said nothing.

The kid's a douche, that's all.

Comment is just making us hate the fan base more and don't respond well you know I'm right or something.

BTW speaking of Running up the scores the 2001 Rams vs. Jets game was the game where they did an onside kick while up by like a TD or something right?

I haven't followed the NFL for very long (I'm a Pats fan fwiw), but even in my ignorance I can still tell 90% of the posts in this thread are retarded (on both sides).

edge,

kyro's one of the better of SE posters by a very large margin. Even the Yankees fans agree.

It's because Tanner doesn't tend to put everyone on tilt the way you do.

1999 Rams
| 1 | Baltimore Ravens | W | 27-10 |

| 3 | Atlanta Falcons | W | 35- 7 |
| 4 | at Cincinnati Bengals | W | 38-10 |
| 5 | San Francisco 49ers | W | 42-20 |
| 6 | at Atlanta Falcons | W | 41-13 |
| 7 | Cleveland Browns | W | 34- 3 |

[/ QUOTE ]Didn't do the math before. These six games have a higher margin of victory than the Pats first six games (+154 for the Rams; +138 for the Pats). So what the Pats are doing is not unprecedented as Simmons likes to say.

(And the 2000 Rams scored 262 points in their first 6 games, compared to 230 for the Pats, so their offensive production isn't the highest ever either).

And to this day I can't figure that one out. Now, I understand the ridiculous trolls like Kyro (who I have said many times over, I never had any problem with personally until he started coming after me) will just do it because they're infantile, but really, I haven't done anything that should put SO many people on tilt.

I do not deny that I am, always have been, and always will be a Colts fan. I do my best to be at least mostly fair, and maybe I rub some people the wrong way, but I think a lot of it simply has to do with the fact that I cheer for a team from Indy instead of Boston. The New England contingent on this forum is huge, and obviously the rivalry goes both ways.

In ATF, there was a thread about keeping custom titles when the software gets upgraded. I said I want to keep mine because it tilts half the Sporting Events forum. I try my best not to take this whole internet thing seriously, but hey, when someone decides to call me out, I'll respond.

Kyro may know his sports, he may be able to spit out DVOA or whatever at the drop of a hat. Doesn't make him any less of a jackass, IMO. Knowledge and ability to be civil are not necessarily connected.

edge,

his jabs are just that.. jabs. They're pretty playful. As your post shows, you don't really operate at that capacity. He was just playing dude. Let it go.
