Been at Foxwoods for the last 2 days and been running good at the 20, which is the highest thing they've run so far. Me and Scary_Tiger are going to try to get the 40 running today, which would be my first shot at that limit.

A whole trip report will follow but here's a gem:
3 limpers limp to me in MP and I raise A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Flop(4 players): A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
2 checks, Guy I've been crushing all night donks, I raise, 2 folds, Villain 3-bets, I call.

Turn(2 players): T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain bets, Hero raises, Villain turns to me and says "I haven't beaten you all night, so I'm going to have to stick with this hand" and 3 bets, I 4-bet. He grunts and calls.

River(2 players): J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Villain donks, I LOL and think whether or not I have the balls to 4-bet if he 3-bets as I slide out a raise.

He calls and shows 33. SHIP IT.

Point of the story: FW20 sofffffttfttt

Ben...are you saying the highest limited hold'em game being played at Foxwoods is 20/40? I find that very hard to believe...

Sometimes they will have a larger rotation game with HE in the mix but in general 20-40 is the biggest. 75-150 stud and O8 games are common along with big deep NL games though.

I also only fill 2 out of 3 qualifications. Nice playing with you.

You play good, and should take a shot at 40/80 which if you shop around tables is sometimes as good or better than the 20/40. I mean hell, you _are_ on vacation.

Here are my favorite hands from Commerce trip/Ocean's side track:

1. Guy sits down 60 and plays every hand for a raise his first two orbits. I've had more than enough of his [censored] and 3bet him on the button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and he calls. Flop K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] he c/c, turn 5 he c/c, river 5 check check K9o good, god how is it possible for 1 pair to snap my flopped flushes like this literally the majority of the time these days

2. 3bet a psycho with 66 tight player caps from blinds, from 422 and I call. Turn 8 I raise for free showdown but he 3bets after thinking a while. He clearly has a robust pocket pair, so my only possible play can be to 4bet because I have been playing very tight and solid. I 4bet, he complains about me turning him and folds, I somehow contain the urge to show him the disastrous fold he just made and take the dollars.

And two fun ones from Oceans today:

1. Get a free look at the flop with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Flop 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Immediately I wonder how hilarious it will be to lose this pot. I bet and get 2 calls including Roc on the button. Turn 8 I bet both call. River 8 I bet, one call, Roc raises, I consider calling, but then I remember that I am playing against Roc and that he has to have 89 here to win and I don't see how he doesn't raise the turn with that. Of course he 4bets me after the other guy folds to my 3bet and I soil myself because clearly he has 89. I call. I see his 89.

2. Retard raises CO I call bb with 86s, flop 6T2 check/check. Turn 2 I c/r he calls and I think he'd call down with K high here because I get the vibe that he is really just that much of a moron. River A I bet he calls and he's get an A of course. Later in the night he did try to call Gary down with K high in an almost identical situation so I felt good about my river value bet in this hand. Of course he spiked a pair against Gary on the end as well. The beat in this hand wasn't bad at all because I believe he had 6 outs it's just that I can't believe people are able to keep playing a game of poker that is beyond your standard level of retardation and walk away with my money.

This last one is my most favorite of all from the 30 Stud. I complete after a fish with Q up limps with (77)8 and all other door cards are 6 or lower. Old guy in BI calls with 3 door, limper calls. 4th street old guy catches 5, limper bricks, I catch the ramalamadingdong aka a 7. I bet old guy calls limper folds. 5th I catch A, old guy pairs door and bets, I raise he 3bet I 4bet. 6th he c/c, river he donks, I squeeze and see that I have not improved and I fold happy to know that somehow by the grace of god he managed to defeat my trips with 1 tiny pair making a full house the hard way.

Incredible hand today:

I raise AK of hearts in Early-midish position, isolating 1 limper.
5 callers behind (woot).

Flop is J95 of hearts.
I swore to myself that next time I flop a flush I will do a suit check.. So I do it this time.. Although I did it right when the action was to me and made it look way too obvious.

I bet, folds, button raises, SB calls 2, I 3-bet. Button laughs saying "your a bad actor" and folded. SB calls down.
Turn is a J river is a 3.

When I show my hand button says "man you got lucky, I folded J9 on the flop because I knew you had a flush.. ur too easy to read"

I smiled and laughed hysterically in my head as I scooped in the nice pot.
"good read."

Only at commerce can you make money even when people see your cards...
