remember that he needs to win 80% of the time to make the 60k buyout correct, and he needs to play double bogey golf or better to win over the last five holes.
It sounds bad but I think that he will win < 90% of the time given exhaustion, so locking in a win is not that bad at all and is maybe even +EV (though he won easily this time).
