Re: Worst movies you\'ve ever seen
You haven't seen bad until you've seen "Funny Car Summer". A movie so bad and so obscure, I wrote the first review of it ever on IMDB. I quote me:
[ QUOTE ] Wretched Waste Of Celluloid, 16 February 2005 This may be the "Citizen Kane" of drag racing movies, but for the sin of disappointing a 12-year-old boy and his 8-year-old brother through misleading advertising, this movie is hereby and forever condemned to Cinema Hell. Who knows if this movie is really any good or not, it's been 31 years since I've seen it. But since that day, the words "Funny Car Summer" will always elicit a groan in my family. I was 12, my brother was 8, and we BEGGED our dad to take us, because the commercial on TV was SO COOL. So off we went to the only theater in town that was playing it. That should have been hint #1. Hint #2 was the fact that may 10 people were in the theater on a summer afternoon. I don't recall much about the movie, but I seem to recall that the commercial showed endless scenes of drag racing. And those scenes were about all the drag racing that was in the movie. The rest was all talking. Maybe it was a searing portrait of the dark underbelly of American drag racing as seen through the eyes of one family, but that's not what I wanted to see, and that's not what the commercial showed. It was the end of my innocence in believing movie advertising. For that sin alone, this movie will forever top my Worst Movie List. [/ QUOTE ] Since writing the review, the trailer is now linked, and after watching it, yup, the trailer is exactly like I remember. I still want my dollar back. |

[ QUOTE ]
If anyone saw Cabin Fever or When A Stranger Calls, they were pretty atrocious [/ QUOTE ] I agree with Cabin Fever. I got halfway through and wanted to turn it off, but was curious as to how they were going to end it and I didn't want to have to sit through it again. Also, Jason X was pretty rough. |

[ QUOTE ]
ALMOST FAMOUS sucked major ass. it's prob not the worst of all time, but i hated it so much. [/ QUOTE ] WOW YOU ARE SO CONTROVERSIAL! I think the worst movie I've seen was a dubbed bootleg version of Day After Tomorrow where I actually sat through the whole thing skipping forward and back and the voices not matching up. Worst movie as is, might have to be the Bratz movie. |

Deep Blue Sea, so many things wrong with this movie.
I've tried multiple times to watch Jesus Christ vampire hunter but simply can't finish it. It was done by college students and it appears they were going for the so crappy it's funny angle so it wouldn't really count in this discussion but if someone wants to see a movie so bad it's actually painful this is it. |
