Has anybody tried Omega International (e-wallet that 5dimes, laspalmas and a few others are using)? I think its run by 5-dimes people. Any trip report would be great.

[/ QUOTE ]

I haven't heard anywhere they are ran by 5 dimes.
They have a guy, maybe owner I forget, who has been posting at SBR at lot.

Bookies balance their action - wtf, is this the largest misconception in sports betting? I expect it from Bill "Donk Guy" Simmons but not as much from a gambling journalist on Covers.

From Donk Guy's column this week, it's a laugh, highly suggest checking it out:

"In reality, you have a 50/50 chance to win a spread wager every week, only you're paying a 10 percent vig on every defeat. Those odds never change. Deep down, the gambling addicts know this. And they don't care." God bless America.

Then from Ryan Stetson's column on covers:

"The NFL is the most heavily-wagered sport in Las Vegas by a landslide and linemakers treat its lines accordingly – with a fine-toothed comb. If a pointspread is off a half point, sharp bettors can ding a sportsbook for millions of dollars, so the main goal of bookies is to get split action on either side of the line to avoid a big hit."

Sure Ryan is closer to reality with his pont here, but bookies try to split their action? I don't think so.

I mean this guy is writing a column for a gambling website! Why is this such a widespread misconception?

Do people feel better with themselves thinking that the books are balancing their action? Are they blissfuly ignorant so that they can feel as though their donk picks have a 50% chance of winning no matter how little research they've put into their handicapping? Is it the equivelent of the 5/10 limit player shaking his head after you cap the flop in a four way pot with a flush draw to his middle pair?

Alright im reaching now, but this is a phenomenon which I feel is a major part of keeping us in the black.

Is that what you call your trolling crew? LOL... Go back to 2+2 and talk about arbs and middles you idiot. We don't need trolls like you here.

It seems SBR has like 5 posters out of like the thousands that make SB a profession. I'm called a troll by my 15th post (std), but this time I basically derided retarded bankroll management advice and even stupider handicapping advice. Then I get popped with this gem. I'm not sure if this is the sickest level ever. But its pretty damn good IMO.

Mods if this isn't where this belongs then sorry, I need some help though.

I have about $185 on Bodog that'd I'd like to take out. It would take way too much work though to do it through Bodog.

I was hoping someone could help me take it off. We could sit down at a heads up poker table on Bodog, I raise about $50, you reraise and then I fold. Then you transfer the money to me on Full Tilt. I'l be willing to let you keep $10 for helping me.

I'm hoping someone that has been here for a while helps and of course I need proof you have an account on Full Tilt.
