actually that is EXACTLY what we have, except he's not as durable as marmol (betancourt). he's about as good, though. just older.

Great move by Yost in today's game.
Brings in Linebrink in the 7th in a tie game, no double switch, with Linebrink due up 2nd in the bottom half. Linebrink gets out of the 7th, still a tie game. Bottom 7. Hardy homers to lead off. Brewers up 1 with no outs. Yost has Linebrink bat. Either you double switch when bringing him in, or you have him pitch 2/3 of an innning and pinch hit, or use him to sacrifice if Hardy gets on base. This sequence of events is simply lighting runs on fire. |
