OK I'm in a quandary here. I got stuck playing 100 and 200NL today, saw a buddy sitting at 400NL and took a shot. It went well, and I now have a 1100 stack and am unstucko. I basically have a jesus seat with a fullstacked drooler and a 3BI deep 39/13 to my right and two to my right, respectively. The problem is that I have a pretty good TAG (probably one of you jerks) on my left and he covers. I have no problem saying he's quite a bit better than me and I'm awful at playing deepstacked. Should I stay or should I go now?

[/ QUOTE ]

stay until he starts playing back at u.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh, forgot to say that I have about a 6th of my roll on the table right now. But now I'm stuck again so gogogo robusto.

So.. if you run bad at Stars and don't have enough of a roll at FTP to 12-table .5/1.. what do you do?

Deposit $200 on Prima and take aggressive shots right? RIGHT!

In my defense, I only took shots because I didn't get rakeback and I didn't wanna get a $300 check in the mail. $1100 is fine though.

I am down $2k over my last 4k hands at 200nl. This is my first 10bi downswing in over a year. Probably played over >100k hands at 200nl.

It's smashed my confidence.

I think I really was playing pretty bad. 8-10 tabling when I usualy 4-6. I made some questionable 3barrels and stack-offs, ontop of not playing my A Game.

Any suggestions for what to do?

Im thinking:

- Don't play till this weekend
- Study every night until then
- Only play 4 tables for first few sessions, tighten up from 23/18 to 17/14 for a bit.

skinkrox - play a few sessions with 4 tables, and take pauses when u are making all decisions to consider exactly what you are doing and why.

this usually works for me.

it seems my Turn check raises are break even, im messing around with em. I also only cred pple on turn about 33 hands in 44k hands ??? wtf? (i only clicked CR turn in filter.)

also my suited connecters are in the plus (1800 hands or something).. WTF? I play these things from all positions lol. Even my off suited connecters are in the min/??

Recently iv been running like [censored], but i guess this once proves again that stats doesnt say [censored]. And i was planning to not play these things as much OOP.

[/ QUOTE ]
can anyone gimme some feedback on this?

As long as you play well OOP, you can play a SC or OSC profitably.. it's not AS profitable, but it can still be profitable.

Checkraises on turn are break even? I mean, small sample of 33 hands, but maybe you're checkraising at the wrong times - but I don't think this is the case, it's probably just that it's only 33 hands.
