i keep getting this error (and i have 2.0 .net framework or w/e installed and postgreSQL installed etc):

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue etc...

Could not find a part of the path'C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\Desktop\Config\HoldemManager.Config'

[/ QUOTE ]

You need to unzip the patch contents into the program files\rvg software\holdem manager folder - it looks like you downloaded the patch and are running it from your desktop.

Here's a performance note on the latest private build 0.48b. It displays the 1.6 million hand FGators graph in about 40 seconds on my laptop. A 200K sample from another player in a different DB took less than 4 seconds.

I'm not going to bother saying it is just about done... well it is ... but I'm not giving a date for the next build however it really won't be much longer until you can see this for yourself. There are still a bunch of little annoying bugs that I need to knock off the list but it's getting there.

Sounds pretty cool (and quick). What are the specs of your notebook?

Since FGators' hand history seems like it's becoming the benchmark for HM and PT, this graphing would appear to put you in the lead for graphing. How about importing speed?

Cheers, Carl.

It is a 2.3ghz dual core with 2GB RAM. Importing speed is fairly close but I think HM is faster but I guess that remains to be seen. I'm not going to post any more benchmarks but I'm very happy with where HM is at right now not only in terms of performance but also in flexibility.

And we're pretty happy with it too

Are you interested in any UI suggestions, or at this stage are you focusing on ironing out the issues in the current beta?

Cheers, Carl.

I imported about 100K hands successfully, and the Players tab displays the right stats. But whenever I try to run a report in the Reports tab, it always comes back blank. What am i missing / doing wrong?

Make sure you don't have any filters set that could be causing that. Also, make sure you have the filter set to "cash" if you have cash hands and "tourney" if you have tourney hands.

If that doesn't take care of it then pm me or e-mail at tourneymgr@gmail.com and I'll take a closer look.
