Just interesting that the probable reason this thread exploded was cause at the start a few people decided to say "decided to be a pro and quit your job?? Awesoooome!" lol

[/ QUOTE ]It touched something in the heart of every poker player. "Quit work, play poker and sleep 'til noon."

[/ QUOTE ]

sleeping until only noon is for pussies

Irieguy requested 2 shares but have not seen the PS transfer yet (I'm sure its on the way)

I'd trust Irieguy to pay up more than any poker site you'd have the money on.

I'm not a SNG player so i have zero expertise but this seems silly...

Standard. If he stakes this down uncontested he takes the chip lead and can start pwning with any 2 on the next hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't have SNGW at work, but this does not seem like a good push to me... somewhat equal stacks, pushing Q6o from BTN... seems a lttle loose even at these blinds. From SB I push, or possibly if stacks are not so close. Can anyone run these #'s?

[/ QUOTE ]
The fact that the stacks are so close is what makes this push.

[/ QUOTE ]

I will run it tonight. I am certainly not perfect at the bubble, but improving...

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok so I ran it in SNGW. If either blind will call as loose as 13% or more of hands than it is a fold, if they will only call with 12% or less it is a push. Since it is a $6.50 I have to belive that the villains are looser and that it is better to fold Q6o here...

Yeah this is one of those, where respected poster say "obv push", but they are playing at higher levels where the blinds actually have clue whats going on and call tighter on the bubble.

SNGWiz and SNGPT will not take into account the extra EV you gain when, by winning the hand, the pwning power you gain. It measures your expected gain in equity solely based on stack sizes and not the resulting "power" that comes with it.

EDIT1: to include quote

EDIT2: to say this is my 2nd post in this unmistakably STUFFIE award-winning thread. If you haven't watched the movies, you are missing out.
