It does the same with me - I think that is all it is supposed to do.

I will never, ever for the life of me understand why people play donkaments. Sit there for hours and hours and then get coolered out in 1 hand/25 seconds. Seriously, wtf is the point???

I believe this is one for ama's stamp, but I can't find the standard thread linked anywhere. There is no value in a turn raise, probably, right? I better let him bet his AJ, KJ, QJ on the river, don't I? At that point I had the impression that he was TAGish and positionally aware, IIRC. His betting range here and on the river is probably much wider than the range he will call a raise with (Big pairs, AJ and sets, basically?)

Not so standard here. This is really thin preflop even if you do have the button and are 4 handed. This is the bottom end of my range here.

BET MORE ON FLOP PLS. $2 works.

I raise turn. I think hes picked up some kind of diamond draw but I still think you are good. A call here is okay if you are a little shaky on where you stand but I think I'd pop it to close down the hand and force him to make a decision.

Easy fold on river.

fwiw, he had 66.

Preflop was due to a lot of preflop agression and I had backed down mostly because I was pretty new on the table.
For some reason, I felt ahead for almost the whole hand. I actually wasn't scared about the flush draw so much. Probably a situational thing. I can't recall what his actions were before this hand.

Thanks for the analysis.

One thing I would say is, you should get used to folding these types of bets on the river. In my experience they are bluffs nowhere near enough to justify calling. Yeah sometimes you get shown air but its a -EV call. That was my biggest leak, trust me on that one. If you feel like he might be bluffing then hey, just wish him nh and move on.

I agree, I dont think most Micro villians have the capacity to understand bluffing a scare card...or it my case folding to a scare card bluff, dammit

Thanks for the advice. I'll think about it. The board being pretty ragged throughout almost the whole hand is a pretty big factor here, aight? OTOH that was the almost the same reason that I was more afraid of a set than of the flush draw. I'm confused now.

Edit: Either way I should fold. I'm stupid. I was just confused that you put so much emphasis on the flush.
