I think what he means is this: That you should have a folder named AHK on your PC where all of your scripts go. This is mine.

TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THIS SCRIPT

Ok I just figured something out with the bet pot script on my pc. With the old scripts I would always just put the icon for this script on my desktop like I did with the rest of the scripts that I use. Since the last stars update I had to download the new script and it didnt work right. Today I messed with it and I noticed that the script has to be in a folder or on the desktop with all the other files that come along with the folder it comes in. So to fix this instead of just having the the shortcut to the pot script itself I put a shortcut to the folder its in and the rest of the files they come with and now they work perfectly for me. I hope this helps u guys.

[/ QUOTE ]

anyone else try this and find that it got the script working? I cant be the only one that this worked for.

[/ QUOTE ]

Unless you understand Windows well enough to create shortcuts with correct working directory settings, do not start BetPot (or almost any of my AHK scripts) from a shortcut - go to the folder it is saved in, and run the script directly.

Glad you got it working demon, and shared your fix

for those of you having issues with pot number going to zero when u push ur desired button...make this change to your "betpot_default_hotkeys" script

(if using the R (right mouse click) button...)

~RButton::
Pot(getid(),"1 1 1 1", "smallblind", "ssnl", 0)
return

change this to...

~RButton::
Pot(getid(),"1 1 1 1", "smallblind", "ssnl")
return

works like a charm now

[/ QUOTE ]

How very strange, all that zero does is swith autobet on/off - removal of it shouldn't make any difference

Thanx Dave - I will just make a shortcut to my AHK folder - instead of making shortcuts to each of the scripts inside it.

is there anyway to get the script to bet 3.5BB + 1/limper preflop (im playing NL50 and using 0.875 for a standard raise of $1.75 + limpers) AND bets on further streets not rounded to SB but to decimals?

[/ QUOTE ]

yes, search this post

[/ QUOTE ]
yeah bla bla [censored]

it's rounded to two decimals on the slider, but on the button to bet/raise it's rounded to 0/5 :C

[/ QUOTE ]

Remove all the other parameters from a Pot command, and it will get you 3.5+1 with no rounding.

like this:

<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
~MButton::
Pot(getid(), "1")
return
</pre><hr />

dave.

i run vista, and this script works for me on poker stars at certain table sizes, but not at others. my monitors are 1600x1200, and i like to tile 9 tables on each monitor. so, my tables are sized at a width of 533. betpot does not work at this size. however, if i change the size of the tables to make them somewhat larger or smaller, it works. i don't see a pattern, although i'm sure there is one, but i tried incrementing by one pixel and it wouldn't start working until i got to 554.

i'd really like to have it work at 533. any idea what the problem might be?

(yes, everything is run as admin, etc etc)

[/ QUOTE ]

Now this is interesting.

Maybe Vista reports window size differently to XP, or something.

BetPot uses with to determine which set of Stars images to use, in this case it is obviously getting it wrong until you size the window differently.

Could you post a pic (or PM me) a screenshot of a single table please (PNG, not JPEG) at both 533 and 554 sizes?

dave.

I've already set all programs in question to run as administrator. Well, the PokerStars client at least. I don't see any option to run either the bet pot script nor the AHK main program to run as administrator, since both are just scripts. Or am I missing something here?

[/ QUOTE ]

Set "C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey\AutoHotkey.exe" to run as administrator - this is the AHK script interpreter, and making this change will result in ALL scripts running with Admin privileges.

Dave,

nothing out of the ordinary. Windows XP, Hyper Simple theme, have a C:\AHK folder where the bet pot script is located... Using a fresh downloaded copy of the script off your site...

I right click and it just zeros the bet out? What else could i tell you that could help you figure this out?

Are you running the screen in 32-bit colour depth? (you need to be)

Are you running SnoopFree?
