You don't like to throw Ax in there either? (And certain Kx?)

[/ QUOTE ]

No, not really. If I'm going to play a hand solely for the possibility of top pair I would like to have a certain degree of confidence in my kicker, especially in regards to kings or aces since the tendency of uNL villains to play any ace or king and not let it go for dear life means that a large amount of the time I get action with TP on and A or K high board it is going to come down to a kicker.

[/ QUOTE ]

Still seems +EV considering the blind steal or cbet will take it down often enough (I suppose you could make this argument for any 2). Just don't 2nd barrel, and fold to any aggression.

And throw in a towel or something to keep it from banging around too much.

Sean, how often do you cbet? I know, "it depends," but against 1 opponent, is it nearly 100%?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm assuming you mean when in position. As long as I have functional outs I will c-bet anyone who will fold to a c-bet more than 40% of the time. Against players who fold greater than 60% of the time, I always c-bet regardless of my outs.

Yes, in position of course. I think a lot of time, I have small sample sizes on several people at a given table and I'm inclined to cbet an unknown ~100% of the time. If the flop looks particularly scary (as in, it's more likely that he hit something), I don't cbet. Seems pretty standard. I know there was a long thread about cbetting recently, so no need to go any deeper in discussing it here I guess.
