Isura, instead of taping your own playing picking a member, coaching them through a session and dealing with some of their leaks, and then going through a PokerTracker analysis at the end would help A TON for guys looking to find leaks they might not be aware of and improve their game.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's a great idea! We'll have a forum, so perhaps we can run a lottery to pick the participants.

Guys,

Myself and another 2p2er are working on a cardrunners type of site. But with much lower membership fees and catering to uNL/SSNL. We're working on some innovative learning tools like group coaching sessions and more theoretical videos (eg analysis a session in PT for a vide).

Thoughts?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is pretty solid.

How about instead of a lottery system, you could separate players into different categories based on how they've been playing up that point so when people jump into the video they have an idea of what's going on. IE. one category is your guy running at 17/10/1 who's looking to find more spots to open up and wondering why he's not winning at 8BB's/100. Another possible category system could be creating a survey/quiz that initial members take and highlighting the questions they get wrong that would indicate their theoretical understanding of the topic isn't there and somehow pointing them towards videos/strat posts that have those fundamentals hot worded. Shotgun first analysis if you take this idea.

Very good idea, I'm sure there is lots of potential in your business.

I think something along the lines of 'play this hand for us' would be good. Asking people how they would play a hand and why street by street BEFORE they are able to read your play or other responses to it (as on here) would be a quicker way to pick up on leaks and create different lines.

Isura,

Maybe a few ideas are to come up with either articles or podcasts (I'd love that, listening to pokerstuff on my iPod while sitting in a train or something like that) about stuff related to poker, but not hands/ strategies itself. I.e. bankroll management, tilt control, taking frequent breaks etc. Also explain why it is necessary, preferably with examples which could probably benefit a lot of people.

I love the idea of a video about coaching a member. I would probably be down for this. =)

not trying to be "that guy" but just wanted to inform/warn/ect

I did a bet with 2p2 user "fees" a few weeks ago. After losing the challenge, he refused to pay and stoped posting on 2p2/msging me.

not bitching, just informing. carry on.
