CMAR, Berge, Diebitter, anyone else. Could we please do a weekend where you are only allowed to ask questions about 1 pair hands postflop? I'm tired of folding set threads, any preflop questions and all these stupid "I have 9374984098 outs on the flop with my combo draw and he probably has an underpair, get it in?" threads. Seriously, almost every thread is an ultrastandard hand, which is less interesting than half of the call downs that are posted in this thread.

awww I dunno. The problem with 1 pair hands, IMO, is that they are more read dependent than almost anything else we discuss by and large, so without reads they become useless advice, and with reads, they often become a totally obvious play. That make sense?


I think that's right. I'm osrta tired and just about to hit the sack, so might be way off there.

I do, but game dynamics are different although it helps with hand reading.

I get what you're saying diebitter, but isn't every hand posted pretty clear cut one way or the other or right around 0EV everyway depending on the situation.

I posted 2 one pr hands recently that I thought were pretty interesting and they got barely any response.
