I challenge anyone to have a worse starting run.

I started 10/20 6max with a 17,000 hand 400BB slide.

Bah, I'll be down approximately 2,601 BB after 17,000 hands at the rate I'm going

Heya Adam,

I've been posting bi-weekly updates here in HUSH. The first 2 weeks back were great, it felt good to run well again, it had been so long I had forgotten what it was like.

I'm working really hard to improve my game, but I still remain unproven at the 10/20. I'm ecstatic to be positive since the quest started - but 1BB/100 isn't exactly inspirational. Still about 200BB to go to the break-even mark, but I'm on my way.

Thanks for asking. I hope the games have been treating you well - judging from your post inquiring about 15/30 and 20/40 it sounds like it's been going great, I'm happy for you.

ah, pokerbob and surf you guys make me feel relieved.

I'm a long time full ring limit player and this summer i switched into 3/6 6max (did quite well), then 5/10 max. Played 15k hands of 5/10 max makin a good 2.5bb/100 and then suddenly from my 15kth hand to 20kth hand i had a negative 300bb downswing (id post my graph but i don't know what site to host my images on). Absolutely demoralizing but atleast i know I may not be a fish if it even happens to you guys once in a while.

how the heck did you guys deal with it? I straight up stopped playing for a good 3 days now, and i've decided i should start posting on the forum that i read so often.

Honestly, I put the table avgs in playerview over my stack size, so I have no idea how much $ I have at the table. I don't really check results much. I actually went through an entire 170BB downswing at one point and didn't realize it until a week later when I looked back at my graph. Thinking to myself, "Hmm.. that's quite a slide there.." Heh.

Of course, after moving up to 10/20 I get itchy if I don't check my results after each session- I'm a little caught up in results now, once my BR is healthy enough I don't have to worry I'll go back to not checking.

ahhh, thank you! anyhow guys, heres my horrendous downswing for your enjoyment (the graph is just the 5/10 6max limit). the 16000th hand to the 20750th hand is an absolute nightmare. i hope nobody ever sees anything like this ever again lol. anyhow, I just decided to grow my balls back and play again and thank god it ended, 2 hours of 4tablin the 5/10 for about 9bb/100. i have my sanity back, hurray for hands 20751-21000!
