They weren't even opening up that much, more like to early 90s level. That was a variation of the old west coast/49er/Walsh waggle. Still a great play.

Am I the only one who thinks that Claussen's refumble (the slide and drop) wasn't a fumble? Kind of looked like he had possession and was laying down..then it squirted out again..I don't know.

I feel bad for Notre Dame. I can't believe I'm saying that. They're just so damned pitiful this year. I can go back to hating them when they do something good.
