Re: Worst looks for guys that you see all the time
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Tucking in your shirt while wearing tennis shoes... WTF, if its casual enuff for tennis shoes, no need to tuck in the shirt. [/ QUOTE ] Don't agree. Not tucking in a shirt that's meant to be tucked in looks pretty sloppy. And you can wear those kind of shirts just fine with sneakers. Once you get past being a kid, not everyone wants to be that sloppy, whether he's casual or not. [/ QUOTE ] If you are wearing a shirt that is "meant to be tucked in" you should not wear tennis shoes. Maybe we should have a poll on this topic. [/ QUOTE ] Obviously I disagree. Shirts that are meant to be tucked in look bad untucked. Wearing sneakers is just a matter of comfort. |

The male secretary, i.e. khakis with sneakers....GOOD GOD NO
I mean, pleated khakis are practically a fashion horrorshow on their very own, so adding the sneakers is just criminal |

Re: Worst looks for guys that you see all the time
- I hate Abercrombie/Hollister, and all similar clothing brands. They are so overpriced and don't look better than a normal polo.
- Crocs obv - Flat-brimmed hats with the stickers still on - When guys where sandals with many straps. I think the one strap over the toes (like an Adidas sandal) or the thong look is fine, but I hate when a sandal has like 5 straps that are locking your feet in. Also, what are people's opinions on kinda plain/kinda artsy t-shirts? I think they're mainly targeted for skaters (not sure though) even though I'm not a skater at all. I'm thinking of buying some shirts such as these: |

Re: Worst looks for guys that you see all the time
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Also, IMO, shorts are bad, period. [/ QUOTE ] This stuff just blows me away. Where do you live exactly? I'm not that far south, but I wear shorts as long as possible all year round until it's too cold to do so. [/ QUOTE ] North Carolina. I get that shorts are comfortable, but that has nothing to do with how they look, which is, IMO, childish and kind of silly. Unless you're in the NBA or something, obv. [/ QUOTE ] So you're talking about athletic shorts then. I somewhat agree with this, although I disagree that a nice pair of polo or say banana republic shorts with a polo shirt look bad. |

Re: Worst looks for guys that you see all the time
I find it funny that normal looking shorts are getting beaten up on, but wife beaters are being vigorously defended.
If you have a moderately athletic build and aren't overweight, normal shorts look perfectly fine in a casual setting. At least they do in the northeast. |

Re: Worst looks for guys that you see all the time
Polo shirts should not be worn by anyone under the age of 40.
Socks/sandals, jorts, sleeveless t-shirts at lounges/clubs. |

[ QUOTE ]
Short sleeve shirts with a tie. [/ QUOTE ] At least 2 people have said this so far, and I disagree. A lot of people can pull this look off, and a lot of people cannot. It works in a rock club or party setting and I see it a lot in L.A. Also if you sing for Green Day, it looks awesome: |

Re: Worst looks for guys that you see all the time
Is there seriously any conclusion about the whole undershirt (beater) w/ dress shirt w/ top two buttons undone thing? Cause I wear dress shirts a lot and usually with a beater under them and think I look fine/more comfortable with them, but not really sure. I'm 31.
