Re: saddest episode of tv you\'ve ever watched
[ QUOTE ]
...The Wonder Years...I miss that show. [/ QUOTE ] The Finale was also sad because you always wanted Kevin and Winnie to end up together for a nice happy ending. The Wonder Years - The Accident I find even more difficult to get through dry-eyed than the finale (the score is perfect)! "Winnie Cooper was a part of me, and I was a part of her" Where's the cry-like-a-baby emoticon? TWY trivia: Beccy Slater was played by Danica McKellar's (Winnie Cooper) sister irl. Edit: awww shucks, here's another clip from Don't You Know Anything About Women?, particularly good as Winnie was barely in the episode until this final scene. Also, Kevin was a pimp. Favourite piece-on-the-side? For me, either Madeleine or the girl from the lake....ummm...Cara (first boob Kevin squeezes!) |

Re: saddest episode of tv you\'ve ever watched
haven't read all of the thread - sorry if already mentioned.
4 leaf clover futurama episode got me, as did the tribute wwe did to Eddie Guerrero after he died. The footage of all the wrestlers together was crazy, but then the vid they did to here without you by 3 doors down gets me every time. (yaya cue wrestling is gay blah blah) but anyone who was into it at the time knows what I am on about - seeing eddie pin lesnar that time gives me shiver up my spine each time |

"I have a message: Lt. Col. Henry Blake's plane was shot down over the Sea of Japan. It spun in. There were no survivors." - stunning moment in TV history. [/ QUOTE ] This killed me, it was a comedy ... and they did this to someone everybody loved. I guess there isn't anything funny about war ... |

Re: saddest episode of tv you\'ve ever watched
I watched this for the first time on TV so I think it counts but it's part of the movie.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrdDAdJK8ZU 3:42 - 5:50 when Hawk turns to the camera with tears rolling down his face and says "Yo Joe" it gets me. |

Re: saddest episode of tv you\'ve ever watched
I've only teared up to three TV episodes in my life, and all of them were Futurama. The first two have been mentioned already:
Jurassic Bark Luck of the Fryish The other, which I don't think was mentioned, is Leela's Homeworld. I tear up at the end when they show Leela growing up and her parents always helping her from afar. My girlfriend makes fun of me for getting emotional about Futurama; glad to know I'm not the only one. |

The last episode of Blackadder goes forth. One of the best sitcoms ever ends with all the main characters going over the top into no mans land and being gunned down. Any one who hasn’t seen Blackadder and likes laughing should. [/ QUOTE ] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mep60vasbfI |

Re: saddest episode of tv you\'ve ever watched
I second The Shield finale where Lem is blown up, Luck of the fryrish, jurassic bark, and the fresh prince episode.
I'll add the Dog: the bounty hunter episode called the year of the dog, where they go through all the [censored] that went down in 2006. The part that particularly gets me is when US Marshals bust down his door to arrest him because he captured the max factor rapist in mexico, where bounty hunting is illegal. Even after he gets dicked, all he says is that he loves the USA and the Marshals treated him with respect. I'm not a jingo, but to me that's a hell of a guy. as far as i know, its still undetermined whether or not he will spend time in mexican jail. |
