Thanks Revots!

And that's a tasty looking beverage! I don't know how easily I would've given it up...

This kid looks too young to have an expression like Woody Allen.

Katy,
It was actually at my parent's house. My Dad had the garage door open and it flew in. It stayed around the ceiling and wouldn't go towards the open door. You would figure that it would go out eventually so they kept the door open for a while. It wouldn't leave so since we were going out for dinner we had to close it. When we came back it was sitting on the garage door opener and tired as could be. While my parents and my girlfriend debated how to get it out I simply pulled out a ladder and gloves and picked it up. You felt bad for it when it began to give off the most helpless squeaks you had ever heard (granted it's like a 72 story building coming alive and scooping you up). I put him in a flower pot outside the garage, as seen in the second picture. He flew off eventually. It was amazing to think that I was holding a live humming bird in my hand, how often can someone even say they did that in their life?

On a related note I had to extricate another bird from their garage a few days ago because it flew in and couldn't find it's way out (garage door open completely too).

Photo of it resting on the opener
