Would people pay for seeing online high stakes player playing a live short handed or heads-up game? ...would people pay for a live webcam video stream from high stakes online players while they play?

Harsh Jman. Think you've taken it quite well tbh. I would definately rather be seeing you in the games than other "unknowns" like Fred Charmanara, Dan Shak, Dan Harmetz etc. I really hope there were no players like that on the table.

Anyway, unlucky for getting royally shafted. There was no talk of you not playing on Day 3, so for HSP to choose the more well known pro's over you couldn't be expected, and hence at the time, it didn't matter how you acted at the table on Day 2.

Finally though, you definately should have issued at least a "10k fight yo" to Hellmuth!

in the end this is a TV show and is supposed to be entertaining as well as a demonstration of high level poker (not sure in which order, but id say entertainment comes first)...hate to say it but they made the right decision.

Why are they [if they(the producers)are] keeping the results and line-ups of the individual days under wraps? Not like we all R not gonna watch it anyways, right? Mind-numbing waiting to find out...

I'm a grown azz man dawg, x-mas is for kids!

Jman, I think what happened was a tough spot, and can't blame you for at least being a little angry about what transpired.

Knowing what you know now, and assuming you couldn't get more than your 700k into the , I'm guessing you would have bought in full on day 2.

The only other thing that comes to mind is, while your motives for wanting to show the public some good p0ker are in line with what we(2+2) would love to see, I tend to agree with others that boisterous characters and bad p.lay on tv continue to help inject more money into the p0ker economy.

Interesting point of view and I agree somewhat but remember golf was initially well promoted on the back of Arnie's army and his "big old" personality.

Nicklaus and Player etc came along and Nicklaus was openly hated by the majority of "personality lover" golf followers. He was fat midwestern boy who didnt smile a lot and destroyed the fields in the 60s. People initially thought he was bad for the game....

Later, however, we all preferred seeing quality golf and commentary than just flamboyance.

Yeah, that Arnold Palmer sure didn't play quality golf, eh?

Does anyone know the blinds for Day 3 (with the 500k+ buy-in)?

Cardplayer.com put up an article a few minutes ago, it was 3k/6k NL with a 12k straddle.

Read Hellmuth's blog, for his POV of the session on Day 1 and 2.
