[/ QUOTE ] if what you say about bluff is true then he's exactly the type of guy i want to play in the 2007 pbwc. i am in fact looking for any and all strong holdem players that want a chance to humble a botter (fyi - the pbwc is open to both humans and bots - it's your choice as to how you enter). the problem i'm having is that the best botters don't want to participate because they're afraid of having their true identity discovered which might mean that they'd risk account closures at all the sites where they currently play. the risk to winngy is that he might never be able to play online ever again merely as a result of attending the pbwc. what i need is just one big name player to agree to show up and throw down for $1k or $10k come hell or high water - kind of a king of the hill sort of thing in the name of defending the humans. if that were to happen i think some of the better botters would show up just for the chance to say that their bot competed against so and so. the downside for the pro is that he might be very uncertain about how well he (or any human) can actually do and the truth is that nobody wants to take the risk of settling the question. so one of the reasons for the weekly pbwc events is to give everyone the chance to gain the overall experience of what it will be like to actually be at the pbwc in september. ray

This isn't defending yourself against anything, this is shameless self-promotion. We aren't attacking your bots because they are poor technology. We are attacking YOU because you thought it was a good idea to solicit players to our game from some other forum even though it was obviously a game for SMP-ers. And then I, on a personal level, attacked you and winngy for being botters IN GENERAL, not because your bots are good OR bad but because botting is clearly against the rules and extremely unethical. But that has nothing to do with this thread. You are very much in the wrong no matter how much ass your bots kick.
