Yeah, it's not 1950 anymore. The south is far more tolerant than most PC niks would ever suspect.

"Jackson added, "We have to evaluate the use of the n-word and categorize it as hate speech, no matter who uses it."

Hey Jesse, why don't you just mind your own business, huh?
PC is so evil. the n word will be used in the black community until the end of time. The kids who say it aren't racist.

LOL DoubleStandardaments

Guys like Jackson and Sharpton have a cottage industry built around hate. That's why they reject people with common sense like Bill Cosby. They foment it as much as anyone else. We will never have a world like in Star Trek where the Federation exists without some degree of "them vs us". We are a competitive people.

Good behavior is desirable. But as in anything there are extremes. PC thought control is one extreme. Outright hostility is another.

The double standard of hate crimes and PC speech is disturbing and wrong, especially when various groups use these as tools for their agenda while using the shield of "victim status".

Richards was wrong, but so is everyone at times. The problem is we have the 1st Amendment, but PC-ers want to coerce people into not using it. As long as it hasn't been repealed. people like Richards and Gibson have a right to say bad things at the expense of their careers and popularity. We can choose not to see their shows anymore.

We don't need government or self-appointed PC Leaders with agendas (fox guarding the henhouse) telling us what to do, especially when some groups are exempt from PC because they are "victims".
