I'm trying to get my head around this concept. When I turn my hand into a bluff, the purpose of my bet/raise is to get villain to fold better hands, and my plan is to fold if villain raises/reraises. But here, if villain is reraising with 98o it's not strictly a bluff, is it? Isn't it partly for protection?

99 is the 2nd nuts... if we hold 99 he's ether value betting 1stnuts, value betting <= 3rd nuts or bluffing. i am saying that we can almost eliminate 2nd option, so he's either got AA or is bluffing.
