I was also very dissapointed to find out that you had to move to have sex.

I figured this out pretty early. Unfortunately my first couple girlfriends hadn't. They sucked.

I must have been 6 when I ashamedly asked my dad why Eric Clapton said "that blonde dickhead" in the song White Room. He had a good laugh and told me it was "that pawn ticket." I was a pretty quick kid, nothing better sticks out.

I believed, as my mother told me, the dragons came out once the streetlights turned on so I had to get my ass home.

I also believed everyone had three balls.

I thought that there were small people in the tv. That if I threw a brick into the tv that I would hit one of them in the head, lol.

During reading at school, when they said we had to read the book during book hour, I thought they literally meant read it from start to finish.

Each session, I'd start the book anew, and read it like a demon, and usually end up close to the end without finishing. During this phase, my teachers classed me as a slow reader,as I kept the same book for so long!

Basically, I taught myself at about 7-8 to speed read, just to get onto the next darn book.

Oh, I also thought the France and China were the same place, and French was the same as Chinese - but I have no idea why...

Oh, I had the pot thing too. I remember reading about guys getting 5 years for smuggling drugs or 'pot', and assumed it was something like antique vases. For quite a while I thought 'drugs' meant 'vases'.

I have a friend who revealed during class that she thought the world was flat (probably 12-14 years old or something). The class is astonished: "But have you never seen a friggin' globe?" She: "Have you never seen a map?"
