I think he meant MINF. Or maybe MINIAMFYF. Or maybe MIWFWYD. But definitely not MILF (and I'm old).

Is it a good thing or a bad thing that I was able to immediately decipher that?

Indicator of how plugged in ESPN is to what their viewers want to see:
- Liz Lieu and Evelyn Ng were on TV tables, but ESPN hardly got them into a shot.
- They did, however, find plenty of time for David Williams's mom Shirley and Jamie Gold's mother Jane.
I guess someone at ESPN read that their demographic is into MILFs. And those that don't like MILFs are into Ray Romano and Brad Garrett.

Unofficial hands-shown count, episode one:
- Hands shown: 8 (only counts hands were the preflop action was shown). That's down from 9 in episode one of last year's Main Event.
- Partial hands: 11 (generously including anything else that focused on poker action, even if it was just somebody busting).
- Non-poker segments: 16, comprised of 5 major and 11 minor segments (counting segments not about poker action).

[/ QUOTE ]

And this is the number one reason why I DVR it. Skip all those damn non-poker segments.

Cliffnotes from WSOP ME - Days 1a/1b:

- wayyyy too much coverage of Ray Ramono & Brad Garrett
- Doyle gets coolered when the case Q flops
- standard donkey says "I have to call", when he should folded two streets ago and shows J high (opponent shows quads)
- get glimpse of Liz Lieu & Evelyn Ng, but no mention from ESPN
- Scotty played well (and got hit by the deck) baby
- Hachem tried to run over the table by re-raising w/ hands like 83o
- Norm McDonald lost a $100k "last-longer" bet
- Bill Gazes suks pretty bad at Wii Tennis
- Montel Williams blew a chip lead
- Jane Gold is just like her son....douchey

did I miss anything?

That's pretty much it. Madsen looked miserable in his lost-prop-bet-costume.

The best part was when Scotty flopped a straight against a guy with KK and a big stoogie. Scotty told him he got no part of that flop baby and reraised knowing that guy would go over the top and misplay his hand horribly. It was embarrassing how badly that guy got pwned by Scotty.
