[ QUOTE ] to the douche that says "what about the people who take home coffee" it was CLEAR I wasnt talking about them, and neither were you until you got proven wrong, so gfy. [/ QUOTE ] Are you schizo or just dumb? How can you 1st say that folgers bought in bulk from sams club cost 3.6 cents a cup (not .036 cents as you wrote) and then claim you were not talking about take home coffee. You make arguments like a 14 year old girl [/ QUOTE ] No, he got you dead to rights on this one. |

I honestly like starbucks more because of the raw indignation broad swathes of society have toward it. that being said I think it's somewhat overpriced and for what I get (coffee with cream and sugar with the odd cappuccino) I'd just as easily go to dunkin donuts. Otherwise I still don't understand why everyone freaks out about it or loves it to death.

Dibs,
"It became my stock order at Starbucks (Venti Irish Cream) because I follow directions and stuff and did what the big board told me to do. I then repeated it at a non-Starbucks. Clearly a mistake. The other day I went into a coffee shop and it had no big board, I was left clueless and walked out because I couldn't confront this reality." You sound like a complete and total retard in that post. |

If you want a quad order a triple and 9 times out of 10 they'll ask you if you want the extra shot for free. My question is should I feel shame for not buying enough to get the Starbucks Christmas card anymore? [/ QUOTE ] Do not follow this advice. Also, why would I know about your feelings of shame? I slang coffee, for [censored]'s sake. |

[ QUOTE ] quids, "I may be wrong here, but I doubt many people can tell the difference in taste." Yes, you are very wrong on this point. FWIW, I generally buy a $1.50 coffee about three times a week at a local coffeeshop (F STARBUCKS!!!) [/ QUOTE ] Ya, F SBUX is right, if they werent making tons and tons of economically challenged hippies, they wouldnt be on every street corner I guess. and guys, this is why I hate starbucks more than anything else....hippies. [/ QUOTE ] I don't think a lot of economically challenged people are going to starbucks for their coffee, hippie or not. I'm thinking of the guids version of that scene from 48 Hours, with Jerry Garcia playing the Eddie Murphy role: "I'm your worst nightmare ... a hippie with money." |

Have you ever used any flavorings or other starbucks ingredients on your or a sex partner's genitals during unprotected sex? [/ QUOTE ] You'd be surprised at how a little nutmeg can spruce up a gash. |

[ QUOTE ]
Cliched comments re: Starbucks that really piss me off: "Starbucks! No way am I going to spend 4 bucks on a cup of coffee! LOL!" First of all, a tall drip is $1.60, a grande is $1.75, and a venti is $1.85 (or somewhere in that range, depending on location). How is that anywhere close to 4 bucks? Secondly, the drinks that ARE 4 bucks are espresso + flavor + extra crap drinks, which aren't made anywhere else for any lower price. People pay $4 for a smoothie or any other premium refreshment, how is $4 for a caramel macchiato w/ whip cream at all unreasonable? Die. [/ QUOTE ] How is your getting pissed off or weirded out about this any more sensible than the people you're criticizing? |
