Isn't it hilarious that once bigjoe gets to 1M VPP's, it will be a better move to stop playing on that account and start a new account to get his 2nd 1M. If he keeps using his main account, he'll get an extra 1.5FPP's (5x vs 3.5x). That's $15k for the 2nd mil. If he were to open a new account and play, he'd lose that $15k, but make an extra $17,750 on the level bonuses and another $29,800 on the 3 tourneys for get SNE. PS is gonna have to offer him something above 1M, otherwise it's assbackwards.

Ummmmm, great post bumpking and yea I will have to demand that stars offer me bonuses on my 2nd million that equals the bonuses for the first million. Unless I win a big live mtt or something and then just decide to take a lot of time off of poker then I definately get over 2million maybe 3million. If stars offered me something really sick I could get 3million. And I'm not even over my last 4500, a friend played on my account for like 150 sngs and lost 21k. Then after that I ran at -30% roi over like 150 1k turbos or so, which was awesome. So thats the downswing. My roi at the 500s and 300s is still over 10% on stars i think.

Just because sngs are formulaic does not mean reads are irrelevant.

Paying attention to your opponents can make a huge difference in ROI.

Yeah,

Stars is so cool that I'm sure they'll offer you more than the 1M equivalent. Another off-topic idea is to sell your services to other players that can't quite reach SNE, SN, or whatever level they're trying to get to.

For Example: Player A is on track to get 825k VIPs this year. Since those extra 175k are worth the $30k of SNE bonuses, you could play on their account and split the extra dough. Of course, there are only a few specific scenarios where this would be profitable for you since your opportunity cost of 5x FPPs is quite high. I've got 250k VPPs right now and should make SNE on my own, but if not I may be inquiring about your "services". Just food for thought!
