Man, the fund raising for Ron Paul seems to be stalling this week (ignoring that chunk of off-line contributions loaded yesterday). We're on course for three terrible days in a row when it comes to on-line contributions. Hopefully it's just due to donors being tapped out from the recent pushes, and/or saving it up for November 5th.

Jeez, it looks like we're going to make 3 mil easy this month. Given that we raised 5.3 mil last quarter, that's a fantastic effort, no matter what the "goal" was.

I believe they are definitely saving for the November 5th thing.

Hey, it looks like they added about half a million dollars in offline donations yesterday or today. That will definitely help make up the shortage for the month.

I wasn't following the fundraising campaign closely until a few days ago, but I am pretty sure I remember it jumping from 1.7ish to 2.2 in one day. I remember this because I went to RP's site to register as a republican, which is not something I could have ever considered doing before someone like him came along, and I am planning to give on 11/5. I really can't believe I'm actually giving money to a political campaign but for some reason it was so obvious.

Also I have no real reason to be but I am super hopeful and can't wait to see how big a spike there is on 11/5.

At the current trend, there would be 25,000 subscribers by November 5th. If everyone sticks to their pledge, then that day will net $2.5 million. I have no idea how many people are going to stick with it, though. It should be a high percentage, given the Paulites' devotion to the cause, but you never know.

I am planning on doubling the $100 suggested donation, just in case somebody can't donate. Everyone else should too. Even if you can't double it, an extra $25 or $50 wouldn't hurt.
