I'd guess you were anywhere between 15-18.

Its actually probably the least cool of the great albums in the indie world, most likely due to the subject matter.

EDIT: though, just to be clear, it IS the best album ever made

Was Pinkerton from this era? If so, it definitely belongs. Also Eminem deserves at least one spot on everyone's list. In fact, hip hop as a whole is very under-represented here imo, but maybe I just say that becasue I consider this era to be a down era for popular rock music.
