He definitely should have gone in feet first, however the correct way to do that is with the catcher blocking the plate ... hell I would have considered going for the shoulder-first collision.

Apparently Holliday's arm is fine. Maybe all he did was bash his face in the dirt a bit. I thought he got cleated up his hand/arm but guess not.

Also, I gotta confess I had no clue the Diamondbacks' runs for/against split was that bad this season. Wow.

I'm kinda liking the Phillies in the NL now.

Still think whoever the AL team is (I've got the Angels) will roll in the World Series. But I thought that last year ...

I think limited replay in all sports is a good thing given the technology available these days. I'm just not sure what the best way to implement it is in baseball. I'm totally against a balls-strikes system, though (unless they widen the plate, but a balls-strikes system using the current plate would KILL pitchers).

I just like how we dominate Peavy and Hoffman and get destroyed by every other pitcher.

I suppose something similar to what the NFL does (each manager gets two challenges) would work. Also, ALL questionable home run calls should be reviewed.
