Any time you make over 2k in winnings, I don't think you can complain.

I really thought it was great reasoning. I'm not sure if the call itself is profitable at NL200 or below (I can't remember the exact bet on the river you had to call, I'm going to look at it again later). I just think at the lower stakes, so many bad players play mid pps like that. They see overcards on the flop but think, maybe he's just C-betting, pick up a draw on the turn, and then decide to turn their hand into a bluff the river.

Still, very nice hand...it shows the type of reasoning we all need to develop to move up in stakes.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you're confused here, maybe you're not remembering the hand correctly? If he's betting pocket sevens with a diamond (7 high flush), it certainly isn't as a bluff, it's for value. And I feel pretty confident when I say that this guy doesn't value bet hands like that. There is no chance he's trying to "bluff" with something like that because he knows I'm folding an 8 high flush exactly never.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm definitely going to review it...perhaps I am a little confused.

The point I meant to make, however, was that a lot of villians at NL100/NL200 have no clue WHY they're betting the river...be it for value or for bluff. Villians in lower stakes would make that river bet with the 2 of diamonds.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok we're on the same page then. I don't share your read on this villain though, even if we were playing lower stakes.

fabian can you answer my question on CR page under your vid?

And i disagree, he had a good read on that guy, I know alot of guys at 1/2 and even 5/1 are bluffing that river. but you gotta have the bluffhappy guy, and not the Fgators type.

I just moved up to chase my losses and stacked someone within 10 hands.

So I feel better now

[/ QUOTE ]

you should feel completely disgusted in yourself and if you make a habit of doing this its going to lead to bad things.

[/ QUOTE ]

why? I doubt his EV a level or two up is that much lower.

[/ QUOTE ]

most of the time when you're chasing losses you are on tilt and when on tilt you do things that you can't fathom that you would ever do.

what happens if he gets stacked in the 1st ten hands? he might say he'd stop playing after losing just one stack but can we take his word for it? no and we shouldn't. its a bad thing to do and a br bustoing thing to make a habit of
