its true im relatively new to msnl, and if its true that ppl do win at rates above 6.9ptbb in the long term well thats awesome for them. its just everyone always talks about these huge winrates on party, yet ive never seen a long term graph or stats with a winrate anywhere near that. maybe ive just missed them all. tbh, i would like to see a graph like that just to confirm that it is possible to win that big.

[/ QUOTE ]

i dont get it, youve seen mine, im not posting them again, obviously others are capable of similar... kotkis has posted winrates that high at 10/20 and 5/10 ffs! maybe you should read the msnl monthly thread more, that will satiate your need for stats. this thread is for calling regulars who dared to bluff you terrible :P

[/ QUOTE ]

FWIW I have never seen anyone post stats of 400k+ hands showing anything over 6PTBB/100 at 5/10NL and above. The best regular for ages was said to be rebuyfish/stoplose and he was thought to be about 5.4 over masses of hands (higher than EM2 etc based on datamined stats I believe), and that included 50 buyin downswings. Many could post higher stats (including me as it happens) but unless they are over a huge number hands they don't mean a huge amount. I mean, didn't even CTS say he'd gone 100k hands at slightly worse than breakeven? That can hurt your winrate pretty bad.

It depends a ton on game selection. At 5/10, its pretty tough to play 400k hands in a year just on soft tables.

Yes quite (I wasn't restricting the 400k hands to one year though). It's obviously possible for a v high true win-rate if you table select like s trouper. But for players who multi-table and play loads, it is v difficult to maintain a winrate as high as some figures that get floated about.

All I am saying is that anyone can have a long break-even run and if you are talking about true win-rates you need to factor-in the odd catastrophic run. Just because you go 200k hands or whatever without a shocking run, it doesn't mean that it cannot happen.

I think you are probably right that not many people log that many hands at that high a winrate but I don't think it's because they couldn't do it... it's because people will usually move up after like 100K hands (take one of the best 5/10 regs and get him to multitable 2/4 and he will absolutely destroy it beyond belief), or if they don't do that they will go through phases of getting jaded with poker and not caring as much/playing as well for a while, or whatever... FWIW I have 300K hands at 2/4 at 7.xxPTBB/100 and I 11 table, misclick, chat on msn, dont pay attention half the time and make a ton of mistakes. Most of the time I am on total autopilot. I've had quite a few 15+ buyin downswings and recently a 50K breakeven stretch. Give me a couple months and I'll post stats for 500K hands.

what happened to le77er and stoplose?

Also in my database lordluckbox, tigerhans and Arzzt are all down down 5k+ hands. Kinda strange because I thought they were the strongest players. They prob are.

Arzzt is surely one of the best at 5/10 imo. Tigerhans is good but not as much as some others. I tought le77er posted a hand at 25/50 not long ago ?

For Stoplose I really wonder, maybe he just change sn ?

lolz

I'm pretty sure Stop has quit now too. He was by far the best player at 5/10 I ever played against though. le77ers is playing 25/50 but I don't know his new SN.
