Not sure what could be causing that. Exactly what are u trying to mod? Classic or RaceTrack view? Basically you want to replace table.png and tablert.png with a copy of that transparent pixel. That image is overlayed onto the different backkgrounds. If you make that image transparent, then the background images can be used where myself, everlong, etc have drawn the table onto the background.

Here is a .ZIP file of my \elements\ folder:

Download, and unzip. then copy and paste all files in zip, into C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\RaceTrack. You may want to change the cards files afterwards, depending on your taste.

Hope that answers your question or fixes the problem. Worst case, uninstall the ft client, reboot, and download/reinstall to start from scratch. I would be glad to walk u thru it, if u cant get it sorted out. I got yahoo and msn ID's.

Strange...must be something specific to my setup. Here's what I've tried:
1) replaced cards files (all 8)
- worked fine, new cards appear as they should
2) replaced classic background image
- worked fine, new table shows but of course the center table graphic is still the default
3) replaced "table.png" in the elements folder
- application crashes when trying to open a table
4) replaced "table.png" with original file
- application works again

Foz - I tried simply replacing my elements folder with yours, and the application crashed. Weird, eh?

I'll try the uninstall, reboot, and download reinstall.

running XP...2 GB memory, screaming gaming machine...doubt it's a h/w related issue.

step by step here:

- make sure ft client is closed
- rename the original table.png to table-orig.png
- paste a copy of the transparent pixel (pixel.png) into \elements\ folder
- rename pixel.png to table.png
- restart ft client

I think i covered everything. If it still crashes, perhaps u need a transparent table (794x547) instead of a transparent pixel (1x1), but I doubt it. I know there are people using a modded classic view with just a 1x1 transparent pixel.

My client "used to" work fine, without any tablert.png or table.png file, I just renamed my original files and never used a transparent image/pixel. I think the client HAS to have those properly named files in there. I helped a friend try and mod his \elements\ folder and his "cashier" screen wouldnt work. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] And all we were changing at the time was the tablert.png files lol.

*Sidenote

Made these for a friend. FT Default deck, just put custom backs on the deck. I didn't make a matching cardsmall.png.

Followed your instructions precisely and no joy.
BUT

resized the image to match the original (i.e. just opened original in PS, cleared everything, and saved with transparency preserved) and that did it!

So, basically - your FT client wouldnt work if you replaced table.png with a 1x1 pixel.? Could u be a pal, and host/post the transparent image (png) that you made here? Someone else might need it someday. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Yep. Wouldn't work with 1x1 pixel.
