Ok, a few of you may remember from last month how my friend who taught me poker asked me to lend him $ on stars to start playing again (after stopping because he went kinda crazy and was diagnosed as bipolar), but when I checked in on him he was playing 30/60 way underrolled. He paid me back, but then busted a few days later.

Today he texted me asking if I could spot him $500 or $1k. I'm going to say no this time, is there any way to say no without essentially calling him out for being a degen?

Ya, funny I mentioned him to you and 30 minutes later he texts me. Would have been so much better if he texted me whie I was still out in Davis cause I could have just talked to him face to face, I hate dealing with [censored] over the phone.
I think I'm pretty much gonna have to sit down with him sometime soon and just say something to the effect that he's going against every rule he taught me, and in today's poker climate (hell even 2 years ago) you can't just play with a 100bb (limit) roll and I don't feel comfortable spotting him like this. If he wants to play he should deposit and build up like most people do (including myself 3 months ago).
