goal starting tomorrow will be to cut down to 4 tbls or less, and aim for at least 12ptbb/100 (100nl)

if anyone's interested, i'll post updates after every few sessions

[/ QUOTE ]

winrate goals are pretty meaningless unless you plan to play 100k hands or so

[/ QUOTE ]
i hope im not stuck at 100nl for 100k hands!

im just trying to play my best, and i think that 12ptbb/100 is attainable at 100nl with some table selection

Kil,

She is interested if she said she wants to reschedule. It's fine to say you are leaving the country and will contact her when you return. No need to act like it's a big deal. Just keep the lines of communication open.

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah I think she likes me

but you never know, could be cultural

[/ QUOTE ]

If she can't make it next time, then press her for a time she can make it. If she waffles, then she isn't all that interested. You end it with a "let me know when you get some free and maybe we can go out" and plan to never contact her again.

I had this icon on my phone forever, and I just looked up what it means. It means I have voice mail, and I spent the last 2 hours going through a labyrinth that are Japanese phones trying to access it

That is funny. If any hot chicks left messages, make sure you tell them the reason you haven't retunred their call.

[/ QUOTE ]
You give a lot of good dating advice 4_2 but this last one is bad.

If you don't return their calls immediately they'll often assume you are either busy, or not that interested. When you do return it, they'll either be glad you did or they weren't that interested anyways.

If you start apologizing beforehand you'll appear desperate and weak. If they ask, you can explain it to them in a funny self-deprecating way, but be cool about it. Chances are she'll be even more interested, because you'll appear to be a bit more hard to get.

I agree. I guess if she doesn't mention anything it's 'no harm, no foul' and if she does then using humor is the way to go. Nice catch.
