Keyser, what was your range on the guy last night that called your raise from the BTN, I raised from the blinds, you called...and he 4-bet?

It's been bothering me all day.

[/ QUOTE ]

you mean my range for calling or his range for cold-call/re-raising? My range is huge there, almost everything I open since we're deep. His range... I think he just cold-called with AA-JJ or something. His a good player, and a 2p2'er.

Did anyone watched new Fabians CR vid?

What did you think of the AJo vs QQ hand?

He acted like it was standard to make that call. I couldn't really put the guy on a hand either that makes it to the river there but still...I guess people at my stakes make strange bets like that all the time.

I don't think it's "standard" in the sense that most people will do it. I do think it's a hugely profitable call though. A pocket pair without a diamond was the only thing that really made sense. Or QdQx/JdJx, but those hands 3-bet preflop a lot of the time.

November has been nice so far and I'm playing looser and looser, today I've ran at an average of 26/22 with the last session at 40/30 lol.

I really thought it was great reasoning. I'm not sure if the call itself is profitable at NL200 or below (I can't remember the exact bet on the river you had to call, I'm going to look at it again later). I just think at the lower stakes, so many bad players play mid pps like that. They see overcards on the flop but think, maybe he's just C-betting, pick up a draw on the turn, and then decide to turn their hand into a bluff the river.

Still, very nice hand...it shows the type of reasoning we all need to develop to move up in stakes.
