Cha,
Football Outsidrs

Has Vikes OL being slighltly above average in run blocking and below average in pass protection. Of course three games is a fairly small sample, but it is better than nothing.

[/ QUOTE ]

Stat-wise, sure the run blocking doesn't look bad. That's because Peterson is creating yards when almost no other backs would get anything. To call the pass blocking only below average, meh. Its bad. I've watched almost every play over the past 35 yrs (showing my age), and the only time we had a worse O-line was when Les Steckle was the coach in 84 or whatever year that was. Archie Manning got sacked 11 times in one game that season. That was fun

There are breakdowns with this line way too often. The breakdowns seem to happen more often than not. If McKinney doesn't improve considerably by the end of the year he should be cut in the off season. He is an overpaid pile of [censored]. The right side of the line needs to improve considerably or be replaced too. I know we lack a good QB and good WRs, but 3/5 of the O-line is the weakest link on this team, aside from the coach.

Question about FTP's Iron Man freerolls (if anyone here plays them):

I usually take the bonus medals because don't have the chance to play the freerolls (damned family always getting in the way on weekends). However, I'm going to be free to play next month and was considering entering the freeroll rather than taking the medals.

Can anyone tell give me rough estimates as to the following:

1. How many entrants were there in the Iron tourney last month?
2. How many spots paid?
3. Roughly what % of entrants actually show up?
4. What does finishing ITM pay (assuming minimum)?

For those of you who suck at poker now, I give you this advice- If you've created a new db for PT, do not open the old one. It only brings tears and regret.

Opposite for me. I'm doing my 2006 taxes and looking through my old logs.. wow, I can't believe I used to be ecstatic about a 4k month or whatever. And it was only last year.

lol, the 6 month tax filing extention=the easiest procrastination technique ever, I may never file on time again.

I was thinking the opposite recently. I honestly think Id take a pay cut to have a little more sanity monthly. +/- $10K+ months every month makes me feel like im riding a roller coaster with no seat belt.
