No, Ellsbury's got no arm either. Coca has had the worst looking at bats I think of all the sox hitters.

To be fair, he's got plenty of competition in that regard...

It is easy to throw first pitch strikes WHEN EVERYTHING REMOTELY CLOSE TO THE PLATE IS A STRIKE.

I don't know if you know this or not but Tony Dungy was the first African-American coach to win the superbowl. Amazing right?

I feel like the huge strike zone really favors the Indians, because right now Wake looks great and Byrd looks hittable, but with the day off tomorrow they really only need Byrd to get through 6.

Does this umpire have an early dinner date or something?

The plate is about 30 inches wide so far.

[/ QUOTE ]
pretty sure if he doesn't he could get a date with many cleveland ladies after this game.

I love it when pitchers make teams like New York and Boston swing the [censored] bat instead of seeing five pitches every trip to the plate. I think a lot of pitchers in the AL could learn something from Byrd's approach.

Edit: Does anyone else sing-a-long with that Total Eclipse of the Heart song in that stupid navigation commercial?

Every time.

Have you ever seen the music video from the 80s?

It's really, really bizarre.
