Gabbard just wins ballgames.

[/ QUOTE ]

He's like the Derek Jeter of baseball.

My concern is that he might not be tiny enough to show his grittiness. Well, unless he played football and is tough and gritty.

WHAT!!?? Erstad played hockey? I wish I would have known this. I guess it is time I moved Juan Pierre from 2nd greatest player ever to third.

Sox announce Lester will start tomorrow. It might be a tad early for him to come up but he can't be any worse than Tavarez has been.

i wish it were clay personally, but i suppose that would be fast....even if i think that stuff is vastly overrated.

better than tavarez at this point anyways.

giving major league starts to jon lester instead of devern hansack is like, a baltimore orioles move.

lester is total crap right now and maybe the 10th best option to start a game in the organization

ugh Lester is pretty painful to watch struggle. Every game is the same 5 innings, 110 pitches. I haven't seen his lines in AAA but hopefully hes been able to locate pitches besides his fastball for strikes.

2/1 k:bb ratio which isnt all the good in AAA.
