man, i had to leave for dinner after the last patriots FG ... so heard the rest of the game on the radio. Just have to say one thing:
PEYTON MANNING IS THE BEST QB IN THE WORLDAMENTS!!!

I am very proud of both Dungy and Smith for making it to the Super Bowl. They are very good coaches.
But saying that this is some kind of "huge accomplishment" for black people is sort of selling them (black people) short. That argument implies that they ARE inferior game planners, or motivators or what-have-you. And that they have made it this far, in SPITE of being black. It really is silly. The good news is, we are guaranteed to have a black coach win the SB this year. I think that will actually subdue the media coverage over the next two weeks, keeping the story from being unbearable. It would be different if it was Smith/Belichick. There would be two weeks of this weird "Hmmm, can blacky overcome whitey!? ZOMG!" Instead it (the story) is now "what an amazing feat. A black coach will win the SB this year! Let the BETTER COACH win." It is now about the better man winning, not the lighter, or darker man winning. Thank God.
