DIARY ROOM

The Question: Who do you think is the early favourite to win?

LuckayLuck
Hands down, DMK and metsandfinsfan are the favorites to win this game. It has been demonstrated that they are willing to pour in a very large amount of time to persuade people of their worthiness in previous games - primarily that of POG Mayor and +/-, in which they were the respective last two winners.

They are dangerous because they have reputations that they will "keep their alliances" - and they will, since it is the best strategy. However, where this fails is that at the end of the alliance, they will be the top dog, so any alliance formed with them will get one high in the rankings, but not the winner...DMK and metsandfinsfan will be the winners at the end of the alliances.

HBE
I think Alex Jacob is going to win because he is very very smart. Seriously. Or maybe Chuck because he stays up really late sometimes. Also, Luckay might win because he is completely out of his mind. Or maybe I will because I am not afraid to use man-holding-a-boar. Its basically a free-for-all.

DMK
I think the key to this game is not necessarily keeping friends, but staying UTR and not creating enemies. Whoever can pull that off is most likely to win.

Oh, and winning HoH every week helps too.

If I had to make some random guess, I'd say someone like Siegmund.

Nez
DMK, LDO

1- Hot wife
2- Purple name
3- Poker god
4- Intimidating Zelda avatar
5- Hot wife

I can't really see why he shouldn't be able to pull this one off.... but obviously this makes him one of my biggest early targets, and probably the target of many players

So maybe I answered the question "Who is the strongest player" instead of "Who is going to win."

In all reality Alex will probably win because c'mon, who wants to mess with the 'fro?

Alex Jacob
clowntable has a good shot of floating to the win, i'll have my eye on him. hopefully there are bigger targets around like dmk/mets/luckay and i can hang in for a few rounds..

Siegmund
HBE has got my vote. "How can a number have more than one decimal point?" was the post of the week.

Luckay, on the other hand, is being an ass, and HBE says he and Luckay have a killer alliance. Maybe I am wrong.

Clowntable
Winner will be Alex Jacob because he'll slide by early when the oldtimers kill eachother off and later the TV superstar bonus will kick in
He'll also have no real enemies as he won't need to get too involved.
On top of that he's good at games and logic so he could win HoH if he wants to.

Chuckleslovakian
I like Nich's chances as he refuses to ally early, letting other people go at it, and he is one who can win challenges at key points.

Metsandfinsfan
I think chuckles is in a great spot to win. He is quiet and will not visibly stab anyone in the back
Clown also is in a spot where he could go far when some funny business is bound to happen later

(2:15:37 PM) nez: Luckay thinks he has an alliance with Me, Herbie, and HBE
(2:15:49 PM) nez: I have no idea if HBE is playing Mets or playing Luckay
(2:16:36 PM) nez: I, in the meantime, have a super secret group of Me, Sieg, Herbie, Clown who will protect each other

Nich's is by far the best of those. Bonus points for two of my picks being mentioned over and over?
