Very good ep if Saracen wasn't going to bang the nurse I would feel really bad for him.

Not even Saracen can [censored] that up.

I agree, by far the best episode this season.

My faith has been restored in this tv show. When has acting/writing this good last been on network tv? Lost is good in a different way, but this show is just so good at capturing life as it really is.

pretty good.

landry/tyra is really good and sweet.

kyle chandlers hair was very tall.

jason's acting seemed way off the entire ep. maybe it's just because everyone else is so damned good.

mrs. coach storming out to the car was sick. i think i paused it twice before she even got to the car and was constantly muttering 'oh my.'

i fear that is the last we see of the swede

oh btw there seems to be maybe some speculation up there ^ on next week, can we keep this to a minimum? i tried not to read it, i assume it's maybe based on the 'coming next week on fnl'? i hate watching those things as they give so much away, yet the copy i downloaded had it this week so i saw 2s before closing it. bah

Great episode (though a lot of the plot points were pretty predictable). Only thing that kinda bugged me was Street's rant at Riggins at the end of the episode. Just felt really forced and wooden acting (though the guy who plays Street I usually really like).

I think we forget that that's actually how people (especially) kids sound when they're upset.

One of the things that I think FNL does VERY well is write kids like kids. They don't come up with long witty Dawson's Creek like dialog. They sound like normal kids. I thought Jason's rant was wonderfully authentic.

I will have to rewatch, maybe I was too rash in my judgement of the scene.

I agree in how great the dialogue is in this show. Julie especially is sooooo well written I think. This is exactly how I (and likely everyone else) acted like a c*nt to their parents at that stage of their lives. Soo well done, I fking hate Julie atm.

Ignorant question - what does College ball entail? Do the kids get payed for it? Do they do the same amount of schoolwork and get the same qualifications as the non-Athletic kids? What do the kids who don't go to the NFL do after college ball in general (do they ever play ball after leaving college atall)?

nah jay, that scene was bad. real bad. i don't really buy dids' explanation. that may have been what they were shooting for, but it went even beyond that and just turned out stupid.

two things i forgot to mention :

- matt attacking smash was awesome. its great how his character is evolving

- the church scene. ugh

I liked the church scene. I really liked the scene in Lyla's bedroom aswell and I'm still not sure if he was being serious or just using it to try and get in her (sweeeeeeeeeeet sweeeeeeeeeeeet) panties.
