That is amazing. "not mention my record...let people debate...but include the 3 wins from week 1....view on games I like" that were never posted or talked about.

Amazing. Simply amazing.

Performify, I'll do you one better and I will never even mention my overall yearly record in this thread. I'll let my analysis stand on it's own, and let people debate that and not let a record with an obvious small sample size influence them.

When I post a list of games I've bet on, I will still list those 3 games in week 1 because, as I said earlier, I want people to get a view on what types of games I like to bet and such.

This is utterly ridiculous. There's a forum for "analysis". Track your wagers if you continually do them and want to have a thread. I could post in the NCAA thread "I'm 13-0 this year and now that I won my one play I'm 14-0" but that would be clearly ridiculous. If I did this every week I'd track my record as 1-0, instead I don't and just post thoughts along with my wagers along with anticipation of line movements/pricing.

AF,

I welcome your participation here. As I've written in your defense before, I think posting analysis on picks is usually more of a service to the forum compared to those who just post straight picks no matter if they win or lose.

But you're just not getting the reason for the resistance you're getting, I guess. Or else you just don't care.

You might want to check the rules for posting regular picks, as linked in the FAQ:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...Number=4545147

I'd be happy to discuss this with you in private via PM or IM or on here.

But you'd do better to just listen to me on this and seek to understand.

If you're serious about trying to become a better sports bettor and want feedback: Post your picks and your analysis. Track your record and update it. Don't track picks where you don't post before gametime. This includes your picks from Week 1. Seek to understand the "why" when you're getting criticized by the forum regulars instead of trying to defend yourself, including all the previous criticism in this thread. For example, instead of trying to defend your 100-unit bet from last year, seek to understand why it was a bad idea to include that and why it cost you your credibility last year.

And finally, when the mod steps in and says "hey, do this, this way, because its the right way" its probably a good idea to listen.

I'm probably the most laid back, hands-off mod on 2p2, but there is a time and a place for everything. Controversy is good, hijacking the forum with a bunch of people flaming you and me having to clean it up regularly is not.

-P

You doing us one better is continually staying active for entertainment, not information value.

Keep up the great work!

Really busy this week, so I'm sorry that I havn't posted analysis throughout the week.

Here are my FINAL PICKS for this week along with some analysis:

Houston -2.5: I'll continue to ride Houston. I think they're still underrated, and I would've taken them last week if AJ was healthy.

Oak +4: Why is Miami considered a better team than Oakland exactly? I think the line should be more around 2, so I'll take the Raiders.

Pit -6: Pit has covered every game so far....why stop betting on them now?

Dal -13: Simply won't be close. St Louis no longer has the offense to keep up with a team like Dallas.

NE -7: I officially am anouncing that I'll be betting on NE and PIt nearly every week until they don't cover once.

Are you serious with a line being off from 2-4? WTF?
