It was good...but I'm not sure anything beats the; "She's got a straight with three spades Lon" vs. Raymer.

I actually thought both episodes were great. We got to see some actual poker action with Gold donking around and getting into that nice war with Hoogaard, and Moneymaker getting into a war with that moron Buffer. There was some actual multi-street play and drama at the table instead of just totally manufactured drama from clowns acting like asses.

WTF ESPN?? We need the lead-up action on that Ferguson/Varkonyi hand. His call w/ the JJ made abosolutely NO sense, especially vs. a fellow nit opponent. Something else had to have happend there.

[/ QUOTE ]

I really think that ESPN had the bet size and pot size backwards. It was possibly 3K into a 19K pot rather than 19K into a 3K pot.

[/ QUOTE ]

absolutely had to be the case. nothing else remotely makes sense

I would just like it noted that I <3 Norm and Lon, especially Norm. Norm + Phil is gold.

I must admit there was alot of shoddy poker on here (jaimie). People say he is the small tourney king, i say that he is at best a slightly above average player, and the main reason he won last year was due to his excessive talkin which didn't work this year. Its really funny how his mom made day 2 and he didn't......
