WOW. Hope you got some rest, haha! Sure, I'm around tonight, look forward to it.

[EDIT] I see you finally found some action on the plo8. Sorry for keeping you up way past all the action dying last time.

dude without za the z is garbage, and same with the q without qi.

[/ QUOTE ]

What? Do you even play scrabble? There are a lot of words that you can score huge with a Z or a Q in them that aren't za and qi.. Just ask CC, I played zealot against him for 70...

[/ QUOTE ]

true enough. however, without the two letter hooks, you are also much more likely to get stuck with either letter at the end of the game, which is a 20 point liability. CC does list several good z threes.

Meh no worries, it was big fun. I'm still waiting for things to pick up today and some other tables to open. I raped this 2/4 6max table earlier so things are going good today.

Edit: [censored] this, i've been playing smaller to restore some confidence but I always feel like i'm wasting my 'RUN-GOOD' when I do. I should probably post in psychology but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

FYI, Za is the latest two letter word to be added!

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah, i see. When me and my friends play, we always go by the scrabble only dictionary. If it gets added, one of us will tell the others and it'll be fair game.

AA and AE are clutch for us. Qi and Qat always make an appearance.

Sounds pretty sweet. Anyone want to play at $25 + 0.25/pt margin?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is something else I want to commend sphere on. He didn't try to sandbag or run a hustle. (I hope I gave this impression too with my enthusiasm to play and bet on myself)

He told me what steaks he plays in poker, and then told me what he was willing to play scrabble for, so I knew what I was getting into to. Now, I know i'm a very good player, but with his enthusiasm I knew he was very very good (note the extra 'very') if not better.

All in all a fun and friendly competition.

Thanks CC!! I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and the railbird commentary was hysterical. You guys are awesome. I want more 2+2 scrabble action! Best night ever (brag/beat?) Look forward to sharing the tile battlefield with you again soon.
