I have the wii version. I've only played a few games online, but everytime I select the hurryup offense, I get an offsides penalty. What am I doing wrong?
Also, when playing the computer in the play now mode, is there anyway to see game stats before the game is over? (halftime, or just in pause menu)

To combat cheese they made the fairplay settings a few years back for online play. They restrict going for it on 4th and basically unless you're running a 2 minute drill you will get false starts if you try no huddle.

I've always hated the fact that players seem to improve at a rapid pace ratings wise.
I remember having seventh round picks becoming a 99 overall center within 1-2 years. That [censored] just doesn't happen. In a sense, trying to make the game realistic has somehow made it ridiculously unrealistic. Still fun, but franchise mode just doesn't have that same feel to it that it had in previous Madden games. I haven't played enough of 08 to say much. So far, it just seems to be much of the same.
